Gemma Smith is thrilled to be hosting Catbaret at Super Secret Arts! She has had the pleasure of working on a variety of creative projects (with a variety of creative people), ranging from on-camera hosting and voice acting to live emceeing and burlesque! When not spending time with her husband and two cats, Gemma is rehearsing as one-half of The Glitter Sisters, a new variety show duo coming to Hell Phone Brooklyn 7/28.

Klondyke is an extraterrestrial tragg*t superpower!!! Child of a black hole and a supernova, raised by a 4th dimensional rockstar. They hail from a small T4T queer punk rave planet from the galaxy in between Chromatica and the Star Wars one. They were traipsing through star systems when they crashed landed on this planet, in a bodega freezer, destroying her ship. But! Since they’re here they shall give SHOWS, and without the ugly human binaries and norms you Earth-dwellers have. So basically gender, sex, money, race, beauty, horror, filth, etc. are all just cute little spectrums to fuck with through the only thing they DO understand from this planet: MUUUUUUSIIIIIC!

A Granite Garden started out of necessity. It was a way for two people in a long distance relationship to break the monotony of basic communication. Over two years, Seamus would write guitar parts and Cameron would create the melodies. They collaborate on lyrics and sometimes enlisted the help of their friend Emma Payne. Since moving to New York Cameron and Seamus have started to share their music under the name A Granite Garden. This is the beginning of a whole new chapter in their relationship, one that is not about surviving apart, but thriving together.

You've seen THEMME at Dave's Lesbian Bar, Rockwood Musical Hall, Alrene's Grocery (and more!) serving you dreamy shoe-gaze rock. They feel sort of like a beer/shot combo or nice indica leaning spliff. Kristin "Dave" Dausch, Syry Mitchell, Skyler Volpe, Morgan Karabel and Courtney Hargrove make up the very gay band and they're currently recording their first album so keep your ears open!

The evening will feature performances from entertainers spanning the nightlife gamut: live music, drag, burlesque, dance, DJ sets, and more!
