Working Title

What is improv when you take it out of the comedy theaters? And what is musical theater when you take away the script? Working Title features an all female-identifying cast of theater artists creating a musical on the spot, inspired by an audience suggestion.

Megan Sherrod and Kiki Mikkelsen (co-creators) are musical theater artists and improvisers seeking to expand the potential of musical improv.   

Kiki Mikkelsen is an improviser, actor and musician living in Brooklyn. She has been studying and performing improv in New York City since 2012. Kiki holds a Bachelor of Music degree in Vocal Performance from Oklahoma City University. She has performed and taught improv internationally with Baby Wants Candy (Edinburgh Fringe Fest, Adelaide Fringe Fest, UCB, Asylum NYC), Blank! The Musical (Green Room 42, Broadway Comedy Club), Vern (The PIT, The Players Theater), and Premiere (Magnet), and more. She is the co-creator of "Shitzprobe" at Asylum NYC, a show that puts Broadway performers on the improv stage.  

Megan Sherrod is a classically trained singer, improviser, teacher, and director. She’s a recent transplant from Austin, TX where she was a founding member of the award-winning musical improv ensemble Rook and a regular on the Hideout Theatre stage, which specializes in improvised narrative theatre. She's performed and taught across the United States and internationally.

Chloe Geller is a music director, composer, and pianist based in New York City. Credits include: Second Line (Carner and Gregor) (Pace New Musicals), Head and Heart (NYMF), Next to Normal (SoHo Playhouse), Legally Blonde (Skirball Center), Pittsburgh CLO (music direction intern). Cabaret work at Feinstein's/54 Below, The Green Room 42, The Triad, and the Laurie Beechman. Chloe's song "Pity Party" featuring Christy Altomare is out now on iTunes, Spotify, and Apple Music.
