CABARET

Countdown Cabaret

From 15 down to 1, hear a diverse array of musicians reimagine pop hits from a Billboard chart from the same day as the show, but a past year. The catch? You won’t know what year they’re doing until you show up.

Amie Z. Morrison (b. 1983) is a bad-vibes-peddler, durational obituarist, and practitioner of garbage aesthetics. She performs and records as Cesspool, a lifelong art project with Dahrv Koenig (1985-2019), and resides in Brooklyn, NY with her partner and two cats.

Dillon Heape (they/them) is a genderqueer actor, director, writer and musician. As an actor they have appeared off-Broadway, in regional theater, and in national TV commercials. Dillon toured Japan as a featured vocalist in Disney On Classic with The Orchestra Japan, and in 2019 they received the “Fruitie Award” for Outstanding Lead Performance in a Musical for their role in Metropolitan at NYC’s Fresh Fruit Festival. MFA: American Conservatory Theater. @dillonheape

The DinDin Girls, Kiley Etling and Jessie Bangarang Atkinson, got their name by hosting a show called Family Liquid Dinner Cabaret featuring all music styles and special guest performers. Each performance has a different theme based on a stereotypical attendee of a family dinner like "Drunk Uncle" or "Angsty Teenager". Kiley and Jessie met at an open mic after both moving to NYC to pursue music and theatre. This is where they found their "NYC family". Come to dinner, we've saved you a place at the table!
